How Much Does It Cost To Ship?
Estimated Shipping Charges will appear in your shopping cart as you add items to it. These charges are based upon Standard Shipping to the Continental United States. For International orders (and Alaska & Hawaii), shipping charges for all available delivery options will be calculated during checkout since we need your address to determine these charges. You'll be presented with the lowest-cost shipping option (Standard Shipping) and given the opportunity to upgrade to increased levels of service (Expedited (1-3 business days), 2-Day and Overnight) if available. Most products leave our warehouse within 2 - 14 days of receipt of your order. When ordering gift size products, orders placed before 2:00PM EST are processed and shipped the same day; orders placed after 2:00PM EST are processed and shipped the next business day. When ordering over sized products (requiring handling charges) and selecting a service level other than standard, we ensure that your order is given priority and that it is packed and leaves our warehouse in less than the 2-14 days normally required. Handling Charges
Certain items, because of their size or weight are exceptions to our Free Shipping policy and are subject to oversize/overweight charges. These charges are clearly indicated at the time of order, and cover the high cost of shipping by common carrier using required lift gates and performing inside delivery. After your order has been confirmed, we will contact you regarding delivery particulars including convenient delivery days and times at your home or office, and to confirm whether or not you have a loading dock and need assistance with delivery inside. Because these products are delivered via trucking company, transit times exceed the normal times defined by our service levels including Standard, Expedited, Two Day, and One Day. When ordering these products and selecting a service level other than standard, we ensure that your order is given priority and that it is packed and leaves our warehouse in less than the normal 2-14 days required. Estimated delivery dates for all available services are indicated during checkout when selecting the service level.

Please Note that if your order includes more than one animal each having a separate Handling Charge, these charges will very likely be greatly reduced if we are able to consolidate (place on a single pallet) two or more of the animals on your order. At the time of order, our system will calculate the total handling charges for each individual animal, but once we've confirmed you order, we will reduce the handling charge if possible, based on our ability to consolidate you order.

Avoid Handling Charges for Oversize & Overweight Items
To avoid handling charges for oversize and overweight items, you are welcome to pick up your order for those items with a handling charge from our warehouse in Santa Ana, California. If you live in or near Santa Ana, you'll be offered this option during checkout (specify your address as the "Ship To" address during checkout). If the option for "in-store pickup" is not offered, please call us at 516.665.2730 so we can make arrangements for your pickup.

Customs, Duty, and Other Charges Related to Shipping Outside the US
Customs, Duty, and Other Charges Related to Shipping Outside the US are NOT included in shipping charges or product costs or the Invoice Total displayed on this web site and are the sole responsibility of the customer. All applicable charges will be collected by the carrier at the time of delivery or billed separately by us using the same payment method used to complete your order upon our receipt of invoices for these charges from the carrier.

Using Your Own Carrier for Domestic Shipments and Shipments Outside the US
If you have selected In-Store Pickup for your order, and will be using your own freight carrier for delivery, you must provide the necessary shipping label(s) or Airway Bill (AWB) and schedule a pickup by your carrier. Depending on your freight carrier (USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, or other carrier including LTL companies), you may be able to create the necessary shipping label(s) or AWB on-line or you may need to download and print them. Once completed, please send your shipping label(s) or AWB to us at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup date via e-mail to cs@HansaToyStore.com, and be sure to include your order number and name in the Subject Line; or you may fax them to: 516.855.0689. In the case of using an LTL company for shipment of your order, you must also send us a Pickup Order. For domestic shipments, there is a 10% special handling charge assessed on the regular, non-discounted price of your item(s) when using your own freight carrier to help cover the special handling required by our warehouse staff.

For International Shipments, we will provide all of the necessary documents including the Commercial Invoice, Certificate of Origin, Packing List, Consent to Screening of Cargo, Shippers Letter of Instructions, and Pro Forma Invoice, but you must provide the necessary shipping label(s) or Airway Bill (AWB) and schedule a pickup by your carrier. There is a 15% special handling charge assessed on the regular, non-discounted price of your item(s) when using your own freight carrier to cover the special handling required by our warehouse staff and for providing the necessary documents.

Delivery Confirmation
Delivery confirmation is at no extra charge for Priority Mail. The tracking number is sent to your e-mail address from our web site (sales@hansatoystore.com). Please make sure to add sales@hansatoystore.com to your address book and SPAM Filter to make sure e-mail from us is not treated as Spam.

Lost Shipments
We are not responsible for lost shipments after the carrier delivers them (per confirmation on tracking numbers) i.e. the delivery person leaves them on your doorstep.
